Couples & Individual Therapy • Relationship-Focused • Oncology Counseling

“You care about each other- but something keeps getting in the way”

When relationships feel strained or emotional distress becomes overwhelming, it can help to work with someone who is steady, experienced, and deeply trained. I bring more than three decades of clinical experience supporting couples, individuals, and families through relationship challenges, depression, anxiety, medical issues, and major life transitions. My approach is thoughtful, grounded, and responsive to the complexity of what you’re facing.

I work with committed couples who want to repair communication, rebuild trust, and rediscover closeness. Together, we slow things down, make space for what feels stuck, and begin to restore connection—with each other and within yourselves.

My work also includes 15 years of oncology counseling experience in hospital and hospice settings, supporting individuals and couples facing cancer diagnoses, treatment decisions, caregiver stress, grief, and end-of-life concerns.  This work is especially close to my heart and informs the depth and sensitivity I bring to all of my work.

Whether you are in a relationship or desire counseling for individual concerns- I am available to help.

IMAGO Relationship Therapy is at the heart of my work with couples and families, offering a steady, respectful way to navigate conflict.

When two people slow down and listen with compassion and curiosity, understanding replaces blame, and connection can be restored.

My role is to guide and facilitate communication in a structured, safe format where both partners feel respected, heard, and supported.  The tools of the IMAGO dialogue process foster rediscovery of the bond that first brought you together.

An Integrative Approach to Healing—Mind, Body, Heart, and Spirit

As a certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher and Yoga Instructor, I incorporate practices that support not only insight, but emotional regulation and nervous system stability.

Mindfulness meditation is a compassionate, non-judgmental way of learning to be present with your thoughts, emotions, and body—just as they are.

Together, we integrate simple, practical pauses of awareness into your daily life—helping you find grounding and clarity when things feel overwhelming.

These practices deepen your capacity to stay present, reduce reactivity, and feel more at home within yourself. From that more grounded place, communication improves, and healthier coping patterns begin to take hold.

"Whenever I had a session with you, no matter how dire my mood or thinking, I've always come away with a renewed spark of hope. That's your gift, a gift which, in my experience, few counselors have.  I'm grateful for those gifts you've given me."
"I want to thank you for getting me through the worst year of my life.

I am now ready to move on to the next phase of my life."
" I am very grateful for the many times you have counseled me this past year. I can only say you are very special, professional, and kind—just what someone needs when the bottom drops out of their world.  I am sure I speak for many when I say thank you for your special gifts and heart."
