IMAGO Relationship Therapy, developed by Harville Hendrix and Helen LaKelly Hunt, is the foundation of my work with couples and families.
I feel deeply connected to its principles and structure as a meaningful and respectful way to move through conflict and strengthen connection. Again and again, I have witnessed how powerful it can be when two people slow down and listen with the intention of truly being present in one another’s world.
It is in visiting each other’s inner world with compassion and curiosity that real understanding begins.
My role is to guide you through a steady, structured process that creates emotional safety—where both partners can speak openly and feel genuinely heard and supported.
Through the IMAGO Dialogue, we gently explore the patterns that keep you feeling stuck, as well as the feelings that may go unspoken—or are expressed in ways that unintentionally create distance.
Many couples arrive feeling disconnected, frustrated, or unsure how to reach one another.
IMAGO offers a clear and thoughtful structure for tending to what feels painful and for restoring the connection that first brought you together.
The work shifts away from blame and criticism and toward empathy and understanding—allowing each of you to express your needs with greater honesty, clarity, and care.
This is not about determining who is right.
It is about understanding each other more deeply.
When you begin to see the person beneath the reaction—the hurt beneath the defensiveness—something softens.
Barriers to closeness can be recognized, and space opens for hope, repair, and renewed goodwill.
I believe in this work because I have seen how it transforms relationships.
I walk alongside you in moments that feel difficult or overwhelming, supporting both you and your partnership as you learn new ways to communicate, repair, and reconnect.
IMAGO offers a path toward a more grounded, emotionally safe, and loving relationship.
